Problems:
Is there any honestly in a movie poster?
Does it communicate truly about the movie?

Communication objectives:
To bring out movie poster true nature to audience.

Creative execution:
A series of works that disclosure what movie poster is trying to communicate.

  2. Roger, it was a pity that there wasn't enough time for your oral presentation. There was a great collection of your movie cards and the big board as your final archive presentation, I am sure you have alot to say.

Over here now, the pictures are pretty small and judging them makes it somehow slightly difficult. Anyway, there was a nice play with the posters, with comparison of the original posters aside the
silhouette representing the "Confessions". However, It would be better if you do bigger scans on what was written on posters with
silhouettes. Then, I can understand the link on what were the confessions and what were the problems with the original posters.

I like the main poster with the "Confessions of a Movie Poster". The placement of the hands seem to signify forgiveness and that of someone guilty and making a confession. That fits your idea well.

In my opinion, the topic you chose was pretty daring as there are too much controversies involved in showing a movie poster in it real self. The posters were probably created in mind to attract consumers in a commercial sense rather than the design and artistic elements.

Anyway, you've already made your stand and I respect your execution. The presentation making use of the big board feels like a big movie poster from a collage of posters. This plays well as your archive. I wished there was a further explanation of your final representation and ideas though.
